Dr. Giedrius Bernotavičius: Paediatric Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgeon
Dr. Giedrius Bernotavičius is a paediatric orthopaedic and trauma surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal deformities, limb deformities, chest wall conditions, and complex musculoskeletal disorders in children and adolescents. With more than 15 years of clinical experience, he combines advanced surgical expertise with an evidence-based, patient-centred approach.
Dr. Bernotavičius performs a wide range of procedures, including scoliosis and kyphosis correction, Vertebral Body Tethering (VBT), growing rod surgery, limb reconstruction, corrective osteotomies, and chest wall deformity surgery. He is also actively involved in research, medical education, and international collaborations with leading spinal deformity centres across Europe and the United States.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Bernotavičius serves as Medical Director of Affidea Lithuania and is President of the Lithuanian Society of Paediatric Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeons. He regularly participates in humanitarian spinal surgery missions in Ethiopia, providing specialist care for children with complex deformities and supporting the training of local medical professionals.
